The Driving Behavior Report rolls up data from your OBD trackers into a fleet-wide view of how your vehicles are being driven, so you can spot risky patterns and coach drivers with specific numbers.
Applies to: fleets with OBD trackers · the Hapn web app at app.gethapn.com and the Hapn mobile app, under Reports. No setup is needed — data flows automatically from your existing trackers.
Where to find it
Open Reports (web: in the left sidebar; mobile app: Menu → Reports) and select Driving Behavior Report under Asset Reports.
What it shows
Summary cards at the top show your Fleet Score (0–100), Total Events with an average per asset, Distance Driven with events per 100 miles, and Average Speeding (the share of total drive time spent over the limit). Two charts break down Events by Type and the Score Distribution across your fleet.
Events tracked
- Harsh acceleration, harsh braking, and harsh cornering
- Speeding, categorized as mild, moderate, or severe — the per-asset table shows a count in each band
Per-asset scores
Each vehicle gets its own row with a behavior score and event counts. Assets are banded as Good (85+), Fair (70–84), or Needs Attention (below 70), and you can filter to just the assets that need attention.
Date range, export, and scheduling
Choose a preset or custom date range, adjust the columns, and Export CSV or use Schedule to have the report emailed on a recurring basis. On the mobile app these are icons in the report bar: the sliders icon (Manage view), the alarm clock icon (Schedule) and the download icon (Export CSV).
Columns and filters
Open Columns in the report toolbar (on the mobile app, the sliders icon (Manage view) → Columns) to see everything this report can show.
On by default: Asset Name · Serial/VIN · Score · Harsh Accel · Harsh Brake · Harsh Corner · Speeding · Total Events.
You can also switch on: Distance Driven · Date range · Score band.
Filters: Asset Name.
A column you switch off is also left out of Export CSV, so set your columns before exporting. Reset in the Columns panel puts the defaults back.
For the columns and filters of every other Hapn report side by side, see Every Hapn Report and What's In It: Columns, Filters and Exports.
