Yes — if your tracker is an OBD / telematics device that reads data from the vehicle, Hapn shows the vehicle's fuel level along with other engine data. On a gas or diesel vehicle you'll see Fuel Level (a percentage); on an electric vehicle you'll see Battery Charge instead. GPS-only trackers (portable battery trackers and basic hardwired GPS trackers) do not read the vehicle's fuel or engine data.

Where to see fuel and vehicle data for one tracker
- Open the tracker from the map or your asset list.
- In the details panel you'll see Fuel Level (gas/diesel) or Battery Charge (electric), along with Odometer and Ignition Status.
- Expand a Telematics section for more of what the vehicle reports, such as VIN, Engine Hours, External Power, Check Engine status, and any diagnostic (DTC) fault codes.
See fuel and engine data across your fleet
To view every telematics device at once, open the Equipment Telematics Status Report (from the telematics section of a tracker, choose View telematics report). There you can:
- Use Columns to choose which telematics fields to show.
- Use Filters to narrow the list.
- Export CSV or Schedule the report to be sent on a regular basis.
What to expect and limitations
- Fuel level, engine hours, and diagnostics come directly from the vehicle, so they're only available on OBD / telematics trackers — not on GPS-only devices.
- Electric vehicles report Battery Charge in place of Fuel Level.
- Hapn shows the current fuel level (how full the tank is) — it does not calculate fuel consumption, usage rate, or miles per gallon (MPG).
- The exact fields available depend on what your specific vehicle makes available on its data port.
