If you previously cancelled or paused a tracker, you can restart service on the same device — no new tracker or IMEI needed. Reactivating a cancelled tracker and resuming (unpausing) a paused one both happen on your Billing page.
Applies to: the Hapn web app at app.gethapn.com and the Hapn mobile app.
On the web app
- Log in at app.gethapn.com and go to Settings → Billing.
- For a cancelled tracker: scroll to Recently Cancelled and click Reactivate next to the device.
- For a paused tracker: scroll to Paused Trackers and click Resume Now next to the device.
- Confirm when prompted. Service resumes on that tracker.
If you don't see your tracker in either place, it may need to be added as a new device — see How to Add a New or Additional Device to Your Service. If your card has expired, update it first: How to Update Your Payment Information.
On the mobile app
- Tap Menu in the bottom bar, then Settings → Billing.
- On the Subscriptions tab, find the tracker. A cancelled tracker shows Cancelled with the date and a Reactivate button; a paused tracker shows the option to resume it.
- Tap Reactivate and confirm. On a paused tracker, Resume Now takes effect straight away.
After reactivating
Your tracker returns to your active list and begins reporting again. If it doesn't come online shortly, see My Tracker is Offline: Troubleshooting Guide.
