Important Information Before Canceling
Before you proceed with cancellation, please note:
- Your tracker will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
- Once your subscription is canceled, your tracker will be deactivated and removed from your account
- We recommend downloading your tracking history data before canceling
- If you need to resume service later, you'll need to reactivate your device
Consider Pausing Instead: If you only need to temporarily stop service, you can pause your subscription for up to 3 months instead of canceling completely.
Canceling Through the Web App
Step 1: Access Your Account
- Visit app.gethapn.com in your web browser
- Log in using your email and password
Step 2: Navigate to Billing Settings
- From menu on the left, click "Settings" ,

Then select "Billing" from the drop-down menu
Step 3: Start the Cancellation Process
- Click "Cancel" next to the tracker you're looking to cancel
Step 4: Choose an option
- You may be presented with an offer to save on your subscription or temporarily pause your plan, if you prefer
- To continue with cancellation, click "No, I'd like to cancel my plan" at the bottom
Step 6: Provide Feedback
- Select your reason for cancellation from the dropdown menu
- This feedback helps us improve our service
- Click "Continue with cancellation" to confirm
Step 7: Confirm Cancellation
- You'll receive a confirmation that your subscription has been canceled
- Your tracker will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
Canceling Through the Mobile App
Step 1: Open the Mobile App
- Launch the Hapn mobile app on your device
- Sign in with your email and password if not already logged in
Step 2: Access the Menu
- Tap the menu icon in the bottom right corner of the screen
Step 3: Navigate to Account Settings
- Scroll down to the "Preferences" section
- Tap on "Account"
Step 4: Start the Cancellation Process
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner of the Account screen
- Select "Cancel plan for a tracker" from the popup menu
Step 5: Complete Cancellation
- Select the tracker you wish to cancel
- Choose your reason for cancellation from the options provided
- Tap "Cancel subscription" to confirm
- You'll receive confirmation that your subscription has been canceled
After Cancellation
- Your tracker will continue to function normally until the end of your current billing period
- After this date, the tracker will no longer send updates to your account
- You will no longer be charged for the subscription
- The tracker will be removed from your account
