The Equipment Rental Dashboard is a purpose-built home screen for equipment rental operations. When it's enabled, it becomes your landing page at login and gives you an at-a-glance overview of your fleet in place of the default Live Map.
Applies to: equipment management customers. It isn't shown on most accounts — if you don't see it, your account isn't set up for it. No setup is required when it's enabled.
What's on the dashboard
- Needs Attention — a prioritized list of active issues such as tamper alerts, low-battery and voltage warnings, check-engine lights, stored fault codes, and power-disconnect events. Each item names the affected asset and how long ago it was flagged.
- Live Map Preview — a live snapshot of your fleet with an asset and location count, plus an Open Live Map button to jump into the full map.
- Engine Runtime Leaderboards — your most- and least-utilized assets by engine hours, shown for today, this week, and broken out day by day.
- Trip History — recent completed trips, each with the asset, start and end locations, distance, duration, and end time.
- Places Overview — how your equipment is distributed across yards and job sites, including which places hold the most assets and which have none.
- Scout — the built-in assistant at the bottom of the page. Ask it about devices, trips, alerts, or boundaries in plain language and it looks up live status, recent history, and reports.
Use View all on any card to open the full list or report behind it.
