Hapn makes it easy to see where your tracker has been. This guide covers the two main ways to view your tracker's history: Activity and Time Machine.

Viewing Activity
Activity shows you trips and stops your tracker has made. A "trip" is recorded when your tracker moves from one location to another, and a "stop" is recorded when it stays in one place.
On the Web App
- Log in at app.gethapn.com
- Click the Menu icon in the upper left corner
- Click "Historical Tracking" and select "Activities"
- Browse your list of trips and stops
- Click "View in map" on any activity to see the complete route
When viewing a route on the map:
- Click on any point along the route to see the time, speed, and address
- Use the zoom tools in the bottom right corner to adjust your view
On the Mobile App
- Open the Hapn mobile app
- Tap the menu icon in the bottom right corner
- Tap "Activities" at the top
- Browse through your recent activities
- Tap any activity to view it on the map
Tip: You can show a line of today's tracker movement by tapping the filter icon in the top right corner and enabling "Show Tracking History Line."
Using Time Machine
Time Machine lets you replay your tracker's movements over a specific time period, like watching a video of your asset's journey.
On the Web App
- Log in at app.gethapn.com
- Click the Menu icon in the upper left corner
- Click "Historical Tracking" and select "Time Machine"
- Choose the date and time frame
- Select which tracker(s) to view
- Click "Go back in time"
On the Mobile App
- Open the Hapn mobile app
- Tap the clock icon (Time Machine) in the bottom menu
- Select the date and time frame
- Choose which tracker(s) to view
- Tap "Go back in time"
Using Time Machine Controls
Once Time Machine is active:
- Select a tracker by tapping its icon on the map
- Use the timeline at the bottom to move through time
- Watch your tracker move along its route
- The highlighted line shows where it has been
- The gray line shows where it will go next

Can I filter to see only certain activities?
Yes, use the filter icon in the top right corner of the mobile app to select specific trackers, activity types, or date ranges.
Can I share my tracker's location history?
Yes, you can generate reports from the web app or grant specific users access to view your trackers.
