What is the Alerts Report?
The Alerts Report (Alerts Feed) provides a comprehensive log of all alerts triggered by your trackers. This report serves as a historical record of your custom alerts, allowing you to review past events, identify patterns, and gather actionable insights about your tracked assets.
With this report, you can:
- Monitor when and where specific alerts were triggered
- Review alert history for specific trackers
- Analyze alert patterns over time
- Verify that your alert configurations are working as expected
Accessing the Alerts Report
- Log in to your account at app.gethapn.com
- Click on the reports icon on the left-hand side
- Choose "Alerts Feed" from the available report types
Understanding Report Columns
The Alerts Report includes several columns that provide detailed information about each alert:

- Examples: "GV500MAP_test", "Hapn Bridge 4055", "Maple"
Type
- The category of alert
- Common types include: Low External Voltage, Low Battery, Movement, Boundary, Speed
Details
- Specific information related to the alert type
- For Voltage alerts: The voltage reading (e.g., "12.59", "0")
- For Battery alerts: The battery percentage (e.g., "2%")
- For Speed alerts: The recorded speed
- For Boundary alerts: The boundary name
Date
- The date and time when the alert was triggered
- Format: "Tue, May 20 2025 10:46:49 am"
Location
- The full address where the alert occurred
- Examples: "10170 Tin Maple Dr, Estero, FL 33928", "741 4th St NE, Naples, FL 34120"
As shown in the screenshot above, alerts are listed chronologically with the most recent alerts at the top. This makes it easy to see your most recent alert activity at a glance.
Filtering the Alerts Report
To get the most value from the Alerts Report, use the filtering options to focus on specific information:
- Look for the filter icons (funnel symbol) next to each column header
- Click on a filter icon to see filtering options for that column:
- Tracker filter: Select specific trackers from the list
- Type filter: Choose which alert types to display
- Details filter: Filter based on specific values
- Date filter: Select a date range or specific dates
- Location filter: Filter by address or location
Tip: When working with a large number of alerts, start by filtering to a specific date range or tracker to make the data more manageable.
