The Detailed Tracker Usage Report is a more detailed version of our standard Tracker Usage Report. The report takes the data that comes in about the trackers, collects it, and does the calculation to create the at-a-glance data in the report.
This report is a collection of statistics (milage count, active hours, etc) about all the GPS devices that can be filtered by day, week, or single pieces of the total.
The available statistics we have are Total Active Hours, Start and End Active Hours, Total Moving Hours, Distance Covered, and Starting and Ending Odometer counts.
Active Hours is the total number of hours the tracked asset has been turned on. This is measured only for specific trackers, that are connected to the asset's ignition. Active Hours is that count broken down even further, by the hour. This has nothing to do with movement, only that the asset is "turned on".
Total Moving Hours is a count of the total hours that the asset moved, during the queried period. If a tracked asset moved on a day, the hours it counted, no matter the amount of movement.
Distance covered is the total distance covered during the specified time period. The Starting and Ending Odometer counts are simply the tracker Odometer at the start of the queried time period and the ending reading. Please note, this is the tracker odometer, not the asset's odometer.
A key element of this report is the queried timeframe, the statistical counts are all based on a time-passed measurement. Using this report as a check-in at a set interval, say every week, then you will see patterns of use, helping with billing and maintenance.
