The tracker status indicates what the tracker is currently doing and the signal status of the tracker. It will indicate whether the tracker is online or offline and additionally, if the tracker is using the nearby cellular towers to report the location. Find out more about the statuses below:
Online:
Moving
The tracker has a good signal and is on a trip shown on the platform. While the tracker is moving, you'll see an illuminating ring around the tracker icon.
Stopped
The tracker has a good signal and is stopped at the location listed on the platform. The status will say 'Stopped' and you'll see the address from the last tracker ping on the left-hand side.
Stopped without GPS (Inside the cell radius)
The tracker has a connection but has lost the GPS connection so it is using nearby cellular towers to get its updated position. This means it is in the same position or within a small radius of that position.
It is likely that the device may be indoors or underground so it is using the cell towers to give a location. Once it goes outdoors, it will automatically reconnect to the GPS network. (ex. Your device is inside charging, or in a parking garage)
Stopped without GPS (Outside the cell radius)
The tracker has a cellular connection but has lost the GPS connection so it was detected by nearby cellular towers suggesting that it is likely indoors. The range of the tracker location will be up to 1 mile from the last ping with GPS.
If the tracker goes outdoors, it will automatically reconnect to the GPS network. However, if it remains indoors, it will continue to be detected by cellular towers. (ex. Your device is inside charging, or in a parking garage)
Offline:
|
Offline (Last seen with GPS)
The tracker may have lost power or connection to the Hapn platform. The last position it recorded had a good GPS connection so it is likely that this is the location of the device when it last pinged into the platform.
Offline (Last seen with no GPS)
The tracker may have lost power or connection to the Hapn platform. The last position was recorded by cellular towers within 1 mile of the address listed on the map. When the tracker went offline, it did not have a GPS connection.
