There are several reasons why a tracker may need to be replaced. If your device does need to be replaced, follow the steps below to activate the new tracker on your account.
Please note: An active tracker can only be replaced with the same model tracker as before. If you want to replace it with a different model, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and add the replacement as a new tracker using these steps: How do I add a new or additional device to my service?
💡 Quick Tip: Once a tracker is removed from an account, the tracking history will no longer be available for review. Before replacing your device, we recommend downloading any tracking history you may need. For more information on exporting your data, please click here to review. |

Step 1: Log in to our app from a web browser: app.gethapn.com
Step 2: Once logged in, click the Gear Wheel icon in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Navigate the "Billing" tab from the menu on the top, then select "Replace an active tracker." from the drop-down.
Step 4: Here you will see a list of your active device(s). Select the device you wish to replace and select "Next."
Step 5: Enter the IMEI of the new device and select 'Replace the Tracker." You'll receive a confirmation message once complete.

Mobile App:
Step 1: Log into your account from the mobile app
Step 2: Tap the menu icon on the bottom right-hand side.
Step 3: Scroll down to the 'Preferences' section and tap 'Account.'
Step 4: Click the button on the right-hand side.
Step 5: On the pop-up menu, select 'Replace a new tracker.'
Step 6: Verify your account by re-entering your login information.
Step 6: The list of active devices on your account will appear. Select the device you wish to replace and select "Next."
Step 7: Enter the IMEI of the new device in the box.
