There are multiple ways to view your tracker history on the map within your application:
💡Please note: Tracking data is available on the platform for up to 90 days. Tracking activity older than 90 days is available upon request by contacting our support team.
Activity Cards
As your tracker moves around and completes trips, new "Activity Cards" will be displayed within your application. Activity Cards display information such as the address a trip started/ended, the length of time of the trip, and the timestamp.
Viewing on the Web App
Step 1: Log in to your account on the web app: app.gethapn.com and click the Menu in the upper left corner > Activities
Step 2: Here you will see a list of your trips and stops. When you click "View in map" you will see the complete trip and GPS points
Please Note: If you're viewing the website via a mobile browser, the "Activity" tab will be hidden. Tap the arrow in the top left corner to reveal the activity tab.
Step 3: Clicking on any of the specific points on the map will display the timestamp of that point, the speed of the device, and the address of the location.
Step 4: If the activity card was a Stop, click the view in map link and the map will zoom in on that specific location; you can use the zoom tools on the bottom right to adjust the view, if necessary.
Viewing on the Mobile App
Step 1: Log in to your account on the mobile app.
Step 2: Click the Activities icon in the center of the lower toolbar
Here is where your most recent activity will be displayed. You'll see the type of activity, the duration, the location, and the date. Tap on any Activity Card to display the trip or stop on the map. You can zoom in and out by pinching your fingers on the screen
Tracking History Line:
There is also an option to show a 'Tracking History Line'. This line appears on the map to show where your tracker has traveled throughout the current day.
The Tracking History Line can be enabled through the filters in the top right-hand corner of the mobile app.
Filtering Report
Step 1: To filter your activities, tap on the filter icon on the top right.
Step 2: The filter menu will pop up, select your preferences, and hit 'Apply.'
- This will allow you to sort through the different trips.
- If you have multiple trackers, you can also choose to look at the activity from a specific device
*Helpful Hint: Tap on View in Time Machine to go back in time and follow the tracker as it moved along the route. Click here to learn more about Time Machine.
Filtering for 5+ Tracker
Step 1: While viewing your trackers both web and mobile applications, you will see several options on the top of the screen:
- Moving: The number of devices that are currently moving
- Stopped: The number of devices that are currently stopped
- Online: The number of devices that are currently reporting their location
- Offline: The number of devices that are not reporting their location on schedule
- Low Battery: The devices that have a battery level of 20% or less
- Critical Battery: The devices that have a battery level of 5% or less
- Dead Battery: The number of devices with a 0% battery level
- Charging: The number of devices that are currently charging
Step 2: Tapping on one of the filters will display the devices matching the criteria on the map.
Step 3: You may also drag up the menu from the bottom of the screen to display the devices matching your selected filter as a list.
Step 4: Tapping one of the devices on the filtered list will zoom out to display that tracker on the map.
Time Machine
Time Machine is a feature on the Hapn platform that allows you to travel back in time and follow your tracker's routes throughout a period of time.
Web App
Log in to your account on the web app: app.gethapn.com and click the Menu in the upper left corner > Time Machine
Mobile App
Log into your account via the mobile application and click the Time Machine icon from the bottom menu (clock icon
Using Time Machine
Step 1. The Time Machine menu will pop up, choose the date and time frame, then select the tracker(s) you would like to view. You can select up to 5 trackers at one time. Next, tap 'Go back in time' to apply the filters.
Step 2. Your trackers will be listed on the map, along with the menu at the bottom of the screen. To review activity from a specific tracker, tap the tracker's icon.
Step 3: After selecting a specific tracker, you can scroll along the timeline at the bottom of the screen to move the tracker along the route on the map. As your tracker moves along the route, the line will become highlighted as it moves forward in time. The gray line ahead of the tracker indicates the future route of the tracker.
